Fans remember him with deep respect and love. In fact, Shaikh Abdul Quader Jilani does not agree with the conventional idea of Pir. He is the rider of a very talented and intelligent light. This article is about this brilliant man of the lineage of Hazrat Hasan (RA).
In the fifth century AH, the Muslim world fell into an extreme misery. As the central power weakened, many independent states were formed in the caliphate. On the one hand, civil war and palace conspiracies continue, on the other hand, the invasion by Christian forces continues. In addition to this fragile political situation, religious and cultural catastrophes came to an extreme. Due to the indiscriminate import of Greek and other non-Muslim philosophy and its widespread practice, its deadly evil spread in the Muslim mind. Anti-Islamic ideology infiltrated their thoughts and beliefs. The unadulterated monotheistic philosophy of Islam in some cases loses its uniqueness in the combination of un-Islamic philosophy. The consequences were as deadly as they were far-reaching. It is mentioned in the book 'Amader Sufyaaye Kiram' that in this extreme misfortune of the nation, a bright sun rose in the dark sky of Islam, whose horizon was illuminated by its radiant light. He is Muhiuddin Abdul Quader Jilani (Rah.).
He waged a relentless struggle to restore the Muslim nation to its Siratul Mustaqim, overcoming its religious, political and cultural decline. He did his best to free Islamic philosophy from the shackles of confusion. Proved its superiority. He rescued the Islamic Tasawwuf from the Greek and Indian un-Islamic environment and made it radiant in its own glory. He revived the Sharia. He looked for the right path of Tariqat, Haqiqat and Marefat. He awakened the spirit of unity among the hundreds of isolated nations. In fact, he was an indispensable man of the Muslim nation. He has shown a new path to the troubled, endangered Muslim Ummah, a beacon of hope. Every year the day of death of this sage is remembered with reverence. The day is celebrated as Fateha e Yaz Daham.
Shamsul Alam in his book 'ABDUL QUADER GHILANI' says that Abdul Quader Jilani (Rah.) Was born in the city of Naif in Jilan in the month of Ramadan 480 AH / 106 AD. The city of Jilan is a mountainous region on the south shore of the Caspian Sea.His father's name was Syed Abu Saleh Musa Jengi and his mother's name was Syeda Ummul Khair Fatima. On the father's side he was a descendant of Hazrat Imam Hasan (ra) and on the mother's side he was a descendant of Hazrat Imam Husain (ra). Hasani and Husseini, two holy bloods, came together.
There is a lot of talk about him in books. Here is a brief summary of his brilliant creative activities. Sayyid Abul Hasan Ali Nadvi writes that after Imam Ghazali's Ihyaul Uloomuddin, the book which should be mentioned as a portrait of such a visionary style of writing and a successful and blessed endeavor to properly meet the needs of the age is Shaykh Abdul Quader Jilani's 'Gunayat'. Taliban '. It contains valuable guidance, especially for those who are interested in correcting themselves. Temperament
He was a full follower of Rasool Karim (peace be upon him). He did not discriminate between people. He used to look at the king-fakir with the same eyes. He even gave priority to the poor. He did not accept gifts from rich people. But he used to accept the gifts of the poor with satisfaction. In his life he never went to the royal court. He used to distribute as many gifts as were present in his court among the poor and needy people. He could not bear the sorrow of the people. He was desperate to get rid of it. He is a friendly, humble, sweet-spoken and amiable person. He did not wait for the greetings of others. He used to greet before, he used to extend his hand for Musafah.
Advice
Gausul Azam Bara Pir Abdul Quader Jilani (Rah.) Has left behind all those gems and pearls of advice, the luster of which will never be lost. Such as: He said that the work of a believer is threefold: to obey the command of Allah, to refrain from his forbidden deeds and to immerse himself in the will of Allah. First Farz, then Sunnat and then Nafl. It is foolish to leave duty and engage in circumcision. There is no point in trying to perform nafl while leaving circumcision. Abandoning the duty and abandoning the king who was circumcised and performing nafl is tantamount to dedicating oneself to the service of the slave. Shirk is not only the name of idol worship, but also enslavement of instinct is tantamount to shirk.
Shaykh's death
On the 11th of Rabius Sunny in the year 662 AH, his mother-in-law passed away. He was 91 years old at the time of his death. He had 26 sons and 22 daughters in the womb of his four wives. What he has done for the service of Islam will continue to be a source of inspiration for Muslims around the world. The day of his death is called Fateha e Yaz Daham. One thing to keep in mind is that Sheikh Jilani did not teach monasticism in the world. He did not forbid the world to use and enjoy the quantity. But forbade its worship and enslavement and the establishment of sincere relationships and love. His teachings and principles have been proved by the hadith of the Prophet. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Surely the world has been created for you and you have been created for the Hereafter.
